I've been an artist all my life.I work in many different mediums, allowing my intuition to guide me.
One such inspiration was to apply to the Alberta College of Art and Design. I'd never taken any formal art training so this was a stretch. I submitted a portfolio of work I quickly put together and was admitted. Awesome! I studio for 2.5 years at the college when I was given an apprenticeship with a German Master Goldsmith. This is one of my specialities. Another inspiration was to finish off the art training that I began at the Art College, so I applied to the University of British Columbia and completed my BA in Visual Arts. In addition, I create handcrafted custom journals and textiles. Recently, I've been inspired to return to my love of painting and find myself working daily at bringing beauty and love to life through the images I'm compelled to create. |
