Commissions
Current commission piece that I'm working on
While it is a great pleasure to create from my own inspiration you may have a special piece in mind that you'd like me to consider painting. Here are some guidelines for commissions.
- Prices are according to the size of the work.
- Commissioned pieces are subject to an additional 25% increase, which allows for the increased contact in customizing this special piece for you.
- A non-refundable 50% deposit for the value of the painting is required prior to commencement.
- The remaining 50% payment + applicable taxes are due prior to the release of the piece.
- If you would prefer, I offer a no interest payment plan as a means of purchasing a commission from me. The duration of the payment plan to be decided once we speak about the scope of the project.
- Commissions may take 4-10 weeks to complete and will be slotted in around existing work that I am committed to. Once the commission is confirmed a timeline for completion will be provided.
- Changes can be made during the conceptualizing of your painting and only then. Once the concept for your painting has been confirmed and finalized the commission is set. I will forward painting progress images as I create the piece.
- At any time, you change your mind on the commission, then the deposit may be used towards any painting in the current inventory.
- Shipping or delivery costs will depend on the size and destination of the painting.
- I retain the copyright and reproduction rights to all finished paintings, which may include producing copies in the form of giclee or paper prints and/or for media and stationary printing purposes.
