Sought after to symbolize new beginnings and elegance white peony flowers fill our awareness with opulent beauty.  This collection derives from a bouquet that I received for my birthday.  I photographed it repeatedly as it opened and revealed its full beauty. 

These paintings are oil paint applied to canvas that has been stretched around a solid wood frame.  They all have a coating of varnish to protect them from the elements and are easily cleaned of dust with a dry rag.  In the case of damage, the varnish can be easily removed and the painting retouched.
