If you have followed me for any length of time you will be aware that I create realistic floral and landscape painting in oil paint.  How do I do it?  Lots of practice, for sure.  However, learning to mix colour has been a game changer for my art work. 

If you are struggling to create the impression that you desire with your artwork, it may be your colour mixing technique.

I've put together a short class to show you how I mix my colour.  It's a process that I learned from "Alla Prima" Richard Schmid's book that introduced me to the process.

• build your muscle memory for mixing colours
• stop wasting paint
• learn the nuances of what your pigments can do
• work with a limited colour palette
