Making your own natural wood frame for a 3/4" stretched canvas is not difficult, it just takes a few tools and a bit of careful planning.

- Hemlock outside corner moulding long enough to surround your piece and allow for a little bit of waste from cutting. (1-1/8" x 1-1/8" approx $5.85/foot)
- Pencil for marking the lengths
- Tape measure
- 1/4" Staples
- Staple gun
- Painters tape
- Wood glue
- A framer's square
- Tung Oil for finishing
- Mitre saw or Mitre box and hand saw for cutting.
- Small screws (#4 5/8" screws)
- Counter sink bit for creating a lovely cup shape for the screw to seat into.
