Value Studies
Values are the tools we have to really define the images that we paint. However, it can be a mystifying concept without a bit of practice.
Over the three sessions of this class I will show you how to:
- define a 5 level, 7 level, or 10 level greyscale
- how to use that greyscale to paint an entire image.
- how to mix a montone version of that same greyscale and paint the entire image in one colour
- then paint in full colour, synthesizing everything you have learned.
This course will be online and happen over three consecutive Saturdays and be done via Zoom online.
