This format is so exciting. The long narrow canvas really captures this cascade of peonies. Look at the colour varieties in these flowers. It was challenging to mix the paints accurately to capture this diversity, and boy am I pleased with it. They have a mood and feeling of lusciousness, of delight, of pleasure, and decadence.
