Wow! This was the first flower painting that I've done and boy did I have an awakening. Have you ever thought you see something clearly only to realize you have no idea what you are looking at?
This is exactly what happened. My brain told me it's a white flower, how hard could it be? While the reality is the shades in this flower range from full grey, to blue, to create, to a very pale blue. In reality very little pure white was used.
Surprising. Sometimes things are not quite as they seem.
